Li Xiaopeng pointed out that a safe, stable, smooth and efficient international and domestic logistics service system is an important guarantee for ensuring economic operation, promoting high-quality development and building a new development pattern of services. According to the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the Ministry of transport and relevant departments have established an international logistics support coordination mechanism to work together to accelerate the construction of the international logistics supply chain system.
In terms of service guarantee, in 2021, the port cargo throughput was 15.55 billion tons, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year according to preliminary statistics. Among them, the throughput of port foreign trade goods was about 4.7 billion tons, an increase of 4.5% year-on-year. The port's container throughput reached 280 million standard containers, an increase of 7% year-on-year.
Among them, the port's foreign trade container throughput was about 160 million standard containers, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%. In addition, about 15000 China Europe trains were operated throughout the year, sending 1.46 million standard containers of goods, an increase of 22% and 29% respectively year-on-year. There were 200000 international cargo flights, an increase of 22% year-on-year. The cargo and mail volume of international routes was 2.667 million tons, and 2.1 billion international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Express were completed, with a year-on-year increase of 19.5% and 14.6% respectively. 46 million tons of international road transportation were completed, which was basically the same as that of the previous year. The above preliminary statistics generally reflect the smooth transportation of goods in terms of transportation.
Next, Li Xiaopeng said that the Ministry of transport will give full play to the role of the international logistics guarantee coordination mechanism, work with relevant departments to accelerate the construction of the international logistics supply system, strive to maintain the safety and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain, provide strong support for the stable operation of the economy, high-quality economic development, service construction of a new development pattern, and serve the people's life well.
